The Bottom Line:
Canada Creek will never buy, sell, share, barter or
willfully disclose individual customer information to any third party. We
derive mutual benefit through our relationships with you, our customers, not by selling
your hard earned trust.
Privacy Philosophy
It is our policy to allow you, our customers to control as much or as little
information you feel comfortable doing. As our customer, regardless of how you
contact us (e-mail, website, phone, Fax or regular mail) you:
- control what information you provide
- control what we do with that information
- control the timing and frequency of any communication
We feel so strongly about privacy that our website does
not collect information about our customers or their individual usage
patterns/behaviors. When you visit our site you are an anonymous user.
Cookies
"Cookies" are a feature of the browser that allow a company to assign
you a random number and track your usage of their website. Regular users of the
Internet know how bothersome "cookies" can be. For that reason Canada
Creek does not place "cookies" or any other intrusive markers onto your
computer. The only exception to this is for secure, online ordering. More on

Canada Creek does not allow other companies to place advertising on our website.
This further protects you. Companies often use their advertising
banners, and other icons, to track customers on the internet. If they are not our site, you do not have to worry
about their privacy policies and procedures.

Today, Canada Creek uses a secure on-line ordering method that does not
use cookies. One day Canada Creek will have secure online transaction
capabilities that use cookies.
In order to protect the security of your order, and for purposes of authentication,
we may ask to place a cookie onto your computer. This cookie can be removed (refer
to the documentation for your browser) or you may wish keep it on your computer to
simplify future order entry.
Commercial applications are becoming more and more secure
each day. Technology is changing at an every increasing speed. In order to
protect your privacy and your right to conduct commerce on the Internet, Canada Creek will
endeavor to incorporate generally accepted methods of security as they become widely
deployed.
Opt-Out Features
You may decline to provide us with any personal information in the first place.
Should you share with us any name(s) and address information about you, Canada
Creek wants you to have complete control over communications. This allows you to
decide:
- if and when we correspond
- if and when you receive any email, newsletters or catalogs
- if you wish to be in any service directories (e.g.
newsletters, health alerts)
If at any time you wish to remove your name and address
information from our list, we will gladly do so. The mechanism will depend on the
medium used. For example, email based mailing lists will have embedded instructions
that will explain how you may remove your name from further mailings.
